Red Ball Rally is an entry-level tennis competition for kids aged 5 to 8 years.
The 9 week competition is held at our Wanniassa Street courts in Queanbeyan from 4-5pm on Friday afternoons and gives kids an opportunity to put what they have learnt in lessons into practice.
Red Ball Rally will:
Note: Kids need to be able to be able to "drop hit" the ball into the court and rally 2-3 balls at a time with their opponent to join the competition. If you are unsure if your child is ready for Red Ball Rally please speak to one of our coaches who can advise you.

Red Ball Rally will:
- Allow kids to play friendly matches against other players
- Teach kids how to keep score during a game
- Introduce kids to basic tennis tactics and strategy
- Promote Tennis etiquette and sportsmanship
- Give kids a new surface experience by playing on a hardcourt surface like the Australian Open but in Queanbeyan!
- Open up pathways to progress their tennis through the Tennis Australia Hot Shots program.
