Our Coaching team love tennis and are passionate about coaching the game.
We invest heavily into training our coaches to make sure our lessons are fun and challenging so students improve. We also employ junior assistants to help our coaches and get our students hitting as many balls as possible in each class.

BEN TRUDINGER
FUN FACT - In 2015 Ben coached for 24 hours straight as a part of the ''24 hour Cardio Tennis Challenge'
- Head Coach at the Parkside Tennis Academy.
- Tennis Australia qualified
- 25 Years coaching experience
- Worked as a tennis coach at Melbourne Park - home of the Australian Open
- Coach of Junior Victorian State development squads, plus ACT state squad representatives.

LUIGI
FUN FACT - Luigi is a native speaker in English, Mandarin and Italian and can also speak Spanish
- USPTA Level 2 Coach Certified
- 15 years Tennis experience
- International Tennis Federation (ITF) Player - Level 5.5
- Has coached and competed Internationally
- Passionate about coaching both high performance and entry level tennis students.

BRIDIE
FUN FACT - Bridie broke her wrist playing tennis in 2023 and rather than take a break from tennis she learned to do a one-handed back hand so she could keep playing!
- Competes in Division 1 Junior Pennant Canberra League
- Her current tennis goal is to serve like a pro!
- Loves the people she has meet at Parkside Tennis Academy
- Wants to motivate and inspire young people to take up tennis

JOSH
FUN FACT - Josh's older brother Will also coached with Parkside Tennis Academy
- Is an original Parkside Tennis Academy student starting Tennis in 2017
- Competes in Division 1 Junior Pennant Canberra League
- Received a Tennis Australia Community Coaching award
- Loves going down to the Australian Open in January with his family
FUN FACT - Josh's older brother Will also coached with Parkside Tennis Academy
KIMARNY
FUN FACT - Kimarny has swam with freshwater crocodiles in the Northern Territory rivers.
- Established Parkside Tennis Academy with Ben in 2017
- Develops training manuals and tennis technique sheets for coaches
- Jointly developed Parkside Tennis Academy’s unique Vibration Dampener Skills tracking program
- Loves Cardio Tennis and plays twice a week

KATHERINE
FUN FACT - Katherine is very interested and knowledgeable in Greek Mythology
- Began playing tennis at 5 years old
- Has been training with Parkside Tennis Academy since 2020
- Currently plays in the ACT Junior Pennant Competition
- Tennis is a big part of her family with 4 members playing regularly
FUN FACT - Katherine is very interested and knowledgeable in Greek Mythology
PRAGNA
FUN FACT - Pragna's sister also trains at Parkside Tennis Academy
- Has been training with Parkside Tennis Academy since 2020
- Currently plays in the ACT Junior Pennant Competition
- Known for her powerful forehand and competitive nature

LIAM
FUN FACT - Liam is ambidextrous and is the only person we know in Canberra that hits forehands from both sides (i.e. doesn’t use a backhand shot!)
- Began training at Parkside Tennis Academy in 2022
- Talented sportsman who excels in all sports he plays
- Competes in Division 1 Junior Pennant
- Coaches both Red and Orange ball groups
FUN FACT - Liam is ambidextrous and is the only person we know in Canberra that hits forehands from both sides (i.e. doesn’t use a backhand shot!)
