Senior and Assistant Coaching Positions Available
Parkside Tennis and Vision Pickleball in Queanbeyan are expanding and seeking new coaches to join the team.
We offer a range of tennis and pickleball coaching and competition programs, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated coach who has a passion for the game.
With a combined total of over 400 players, our focus is on grassroots development advancing to squad training and creating a strong foundation in our players.

Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of tennis coaching experience with a strong playing standard is highly desired, demonstrating your ability to teach, motivate, and connect with players at various skill levels.
- Tennis Australia Junior Development Coach (or higher) certification or its international equivalent is preferred (But not essential) for a professional understanding of coaching methods and player development.
- Excellent communication skills are a must, along with a genuine passion for developing players, from building technical skills to fostering a love for the game.
Key Responsibilities:
- Group and Individual Coaching:
- Lead Kids and Adult group coaching sessions.
- Run Cardio Tennis programs.
- Run development squads for players.
- Conduct private lessons for individuals or small groups.
- Use our in-house grading system for students
School Programs:
- Deliver coaching programs for local schools (Optional)
Staff Management & Mentoring:
- Mentor and manage junior and assistant coaching staff, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure coaching staff maintain high standards of professionalism and coaching quality.
Working Hours:
- Be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Senior Tennis Coach - 20 hours + per week.
- Assistant / Junior Tennis Coaches - 5+ hours per week
