EVOLVE (10 - 12 years)

Players in our EVOLVE   program move to a full size court with 75% compression balls. This allows them to work on developing a more advanced game, taking the ball on the rise, and hitting with a variety of spins. Evolve takes tennis players to the next level.

​Players will learn to:
  • Apply the fundamentals of solid tennis technique.
  • Use a variety of spins on serves and ground strokes
  • Learn a variety of footwork patterns
  • Readily adapt their strokes and court positioning in response to their opponent’s actions
  • Understand their strengths on the tennis court 
  • Monitor and regulate emotions in matchplay situations
  • Apply tactics in game situations​
​EVOLVE program summary:
  • 1 hour class​
  • 9 week term with 1 week for make up lessons
  • Average 6-8 pupils per coach
  • Full size court used with 75% compression balls
  • A fun and encouraging program 

  • Includes Evolve squads by invitation for advanced players
